About The Table Story.
We make premium tableware, serveware and home décor, and we sell it ourselves — from our own workshop to our store at Crawford Market in Mumbai, and to customers across India and abroad.
What we make
The catalogue on this site is our own range: serving trays and nested tray sets, platters with fitted bowls, salad bowls, layered dessert stands, coaster sets, napkin and cutlery holders, masala and tissue boxes, and drinkware. Each shape is produced in several hand-applied designs, so a whole table can be matched.
How we work
We are the manufacturer, not a reseller. Pieces are made and finished by hand, then checked before dispatch. Alongside retail, we take wholesale, private label and gifting orders, and we ship across India and worldwide.

Where it starts
Timber is selected board by board, seasoned, then turned and carved on our own floor. Every profile, edge and joint is worked by hand before it reaches the finishing line.
The finish
The part that takes longest
Artwork is applied by hand and sealed under protective coats. Edges are sanded until they feel soft. A piece is only finished when it passes a touch test, not a look test.
The table
Where it belongs
We design for real use — breakfast trays, cheese boards, Diwali gifting, hotel service. Beautiful objects that don't ask to be treated carefully.
